A Hands Gallery favorite, Meg Johnson has been a part of the San Luis Obispo art scene for over a decade. Meg considers herself a contemporary folk artist and feels a strong connection to the strength and creativity of the traditional folk artists that have come before her. She finds constant inspiration in the beauty of the mountains and farmland that is unique to the central California Coast.
Meg has a well-rounded art background including painting, mosaic work, and clay. In addition, Meg has shared her artistic gift with students for over 15 years. All of her work is original and one of a kind. Meg likes to think the pots she makes put a smile on one’s face. We at Hands are Honored and privileged to be the only gallery representing Meg’s work.
