Studio Paran is the creative endeavor of Richard Jones. The studio was founded in 1989 with a commitment to producing hand blwon glass characterized by strong design, skilled craftsmanship, bold use of color and innovative form. Through the years, Jones, a graduate of the Rhode Island School of Design, has continued to develop tha Paran line, finding inspiration for his work in both modern and ancient worlds, from East Asian ceramics to a midwestern backyard garden.
The glasswork of Studio Paran can be found in fine galleries, museum shops and private collections across the country.
